On representation of the counsel for both sides this case is taken up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.R.Dinesh Kumar, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.P.Shankara Narayanan, learned counsel for the 2nd respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The Tribunal has awarded a sum of Rs.2,20,300/- with interest at 7.5% per annum from the date of numbering of the petition i.e., 21.08.2014 till the date of realisation. Aggrieved by the Award of the Tribunal, the appellant had preferred the present appeal.

2.After due deliberation and consultation, both the parties have agreed for a consolidated sum of Rs.81,400/- (Rupees eighty one Thousand Four hundred) in full quit.

3.It is reported that already the 2nd respondent deposited a sum of Rs.2,20,300/- and the same was withdrawn by the Appellant/Petitioner. 4.The 2nd Respondent is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.81,400/- (Rupees eighty one thousand four hundred only) within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Tribunal is directed to transfer the amount through RTGS/NEFT to the parties concerned on proper identification in accordance with the terms of the Award, without insisting on any formal permission petition. This Lok Adalat award is passed in terms of the above settlement.
