J U D G M E N T

This First Appeal has been filed to set aside the Judgment and Decree made in O.S.No.20 of 2011 dated 30.06.2023 on the file of learned District Judge-II, Kancheepuram.

2. Both parties are present in Court. The learned Counsel for the Appellant as well as first Respondent files Joint Memo of Compromise whereby the amount of Rs.3,65,000/- has been paid by the Appellant to the first Respondent on 21.12.2024 as follows:

(a) Rs.3,50,000/-(Rupees Three Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only) via Demand Draft in D.D.No.909701, Ref. No.000042510329 dated 20.12.2024 drawn at HDFC Bank, ITC Centre Annasalai, Chennai - 600 002 in favour of S.Rajendran (the 1st Respondent herein).

(b) Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) in cash paid by the Appellant to the first Respondent on 21.12.2024.

3. The learned Counsel for the other Respondents present in Court and submitted that they have no objection.

In the light of the Joint Memo of Compromise, this First Appeal is disposed as settled between parties. The Court fees are to be refunded to the Appellant less the commission.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
