(Order of the Court was made by RAJIV SHAKDHER,J.) 1.This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing the writ appeal.
1.1.The period of delay involved is 213 days. 2.Mr.Kanmani Annamalai, who appears for the respondent, says that the delay can be condoned, subject to payment of costs. 3.We have examined the affidavit accompanying the application. The delay appears to be mainly on account of the difficulties, encountered by the learned counsel, who was handling the matter on behalf of the petitioner.
3.1.Therefore, given these circumstances and the stand of Mr.Annamalai, we are inclined to condone the delay, subject to payment of costs of Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand and Five Hundred Only), which shall be deposited with the Juvenile Justice

pri Fund, payable to the Director, Directorate of Social Defence, No.300, Purasaiwalkkam High Road, Kellys, Chennai - 600 010. 3.2.Proof of cost, will be placed, on record. 3.3.The deposit will be made, by the appellant, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 3.4.In case, the needful is done, the Registry, will number the writ appeal, if it is otherwise in order and place the same, before the Court, in the usual and ordinary course.
