In Crl.O.P.No.15865 of 2023, this Court, on 14.06.2024, directed the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report, preferably within three months. Since final report not filed within the time prescribed, the Page Nos.1/4

present contempt petition has been filed.

2. The Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent states that, initially the investigation inducted two accused persons. Thereafter on further investigation, nine more persons were found to be involved in the crime and therefore, final report against 11 accused been filed on 20.06.2026 before the Judicial Magistrate-VII, Coimbatore.

3. The delay in complying the order direction was due to the multiple accused involved in this case.

4. Recording the reasons and the compliance, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
