The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo Cr.MP.No.01/BM/2022/E1 dated 10.01.2022 detaining his brother as "Black

Marketer", as contemplated under the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Central Act 7 of 1980).

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.59, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department dated 24.02.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
