The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct the fresh draw in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respect of the award of distributorship under the Rajiv Gandhi GRAMIN LPG VITRAK [RGGLV] Scheme at Tiruvalam, Vellore District [open category].

2.The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the drawing of lot was conducted in an improper manner in order to favour the third respondent. The writ petition was filed in the year 2011 and already ten years had lapsed.

3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent Indian Oil Corporation, on instructions, made a submission that the Corporation has already appointed a new Distributor within 11 kilometers and another LPG distributor is also granted with permission situated within 9 kilometers. Thus the Corporation has decided to go for dropping the location with fresh feasibility report.

4.This being the instructions provided, the petitioner is at liberty to participate in the lot or otherwise, if any notification is issued in this regard.

5.With this liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
