Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to directing the respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.798 of 2010, Crime No.1305 of 2011 and Crime No.797 of 2010 respectively pending on the file of the respondent to some other investing agency. No.798 of 2010, Crime No.1305 of 2011 and Crime No.797 of 2010 respectively pending on the file of the respondent to some other investigating agency.
2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No.798 of 2010, Crime No.1305 of 2011 and Crime No.797 of 2010 are pending on the file of the respondent police. Now, almost eight years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted now.
3. However, considering that the crime is of the year 2010 and 2011 respectively, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.798 of 2010, Crime No.1305 of 2011 and Crime No.797 of 2010 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
