The petitioner has filed this petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the respondent 1/4

issued in Na.Ka.No.1689/2013/Nee1 dated 26.04.2013 and to quash the same and to issue a consequential direction to the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service as Block Development Officer (Village Panchayat) with service and monetary benefits. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader.

3.The case of the petitioner is that while the petitioner was working as Block Development Officer (Village Panchayat) and was due to retire on 30.04.2013, he was served with an order of suspension dated 26.04.2013 by the respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings and to settle the eligible terminal benefits to the petitioner.

5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel 2/4

appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to proceed with the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner in accordance with law, conclude the disciplinary proceedings and to settle the eligible terminal benefits to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
