Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records connected with the order of the second respondent herein in Memo No.681/BCDFGISSSV/2015, dated 03.08.2015, against the detenu namely Dhamu @ Dhamodharan, son of Muniyan, aged about 25 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, and set aside the same. Consequently, direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. For Petitioner .. Mr.D.Magesh For Respondents.. O R D E R

(The order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN.,J ) The petitioner, who is the father of the detenu, Dhamu @ Dhamodharan, aged about 25 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent, dated 03.08.2015, against his son branding him as a "Goonda", under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982]. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent, as against the son of the petitioner, dated 03.08.2015, has been revoked by the Government, in G.O. [Rt] No.6024, dated 21.09.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3.
