ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 468, 471 of IPC in Crime No.221 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner in the month of December 2019, along with two other accused had allegedly cheated the defacto complainant by receiving money on the assurance of securing a Government job for the defacto complainant, but, he neither arranged for the job nor returned the said money. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, the learned counsel prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that there are two previous cases similar in nature pending against the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the previous cases similar in nature pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
