JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by J.NISHA BANU, J.) The present Appeal has been filed to set aside the judgment and decree dated 31.10.2019 made in O.S.No.156 of 2012 on the file of the III Additional District and Sessions Court, Coimbatore.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 10.02.2023, this Court permitted the learned counsel appearing for the appellant to take steps to serve the unserved respondents. Despite the said direction of this Court, no steps have been taken and the batta has also not been paid. Even today, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant seeks for an adjournment.

3. Since the matter is of the year 2020 and the appellant has not taken any step to pay batta till today, we are not inclined to entertain this appeal. Hence, this Appeal Suit is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
