ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register a case based on the complaint dated 14.2.2015 lodged by the petitioner and file a final report before the competent Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. On reading of the complaint, it appears that the petitioner entered into a partnership with the opposite party in a real estate business and that the opposite party has not shared the profits in the business. According to the petitioner, he has invested a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- in the partnership business. But, the opposite party has not inducted him as a partner. Therefore, the dispute between the parties essentially appears to be civil in nature.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
