Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner filed the writ petition seeking for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.02.2016, wherein and whereby, he sought for transfer of Share Auto Permit in respect of vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-39/BC-0554.

3. It appears that the petitioner seeks to transfer the Share Auto Permit in favour of K.Santhosh Kumar and consequently he filed the application on 11.02.2016, under Section 82(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, for transfer of the said Share Auto Permit in favour of the said person. The grievance of the petitioner is that after a period of one year, the respondent has not passed any order. Without expressing any view on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

merits, this Court only directs the respondent to consider the application and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations and direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
