PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to transfer the case in Crime No.844 of 2017 dated 13.10.2017 on the file of Inspector of Police, Thirukovilur Police Station, Villupuram District to the file of Superintendent of Police CBCID, Chennai to conduct enquiry in the case and file final report within the stipulated period of time framed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to to transfer the case in Crime No.844 of 2017 dated 13.10.2017 on the file of Inspector of Police, Thirukovilur Police Station, Villupuram District to the file of Superintendent of Police CBCID, Chennai to conduct enquiry in the case and file final report within the stipulated period of time.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The Inspector of Police, Thirukovilur is suomotto impleaded as party respondent.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is no much progress in the investigation inspite of Dying Declaration and other materials. In my view, such ground may not be sufficient to transfer the investigation and at the same time, the submission cannot be disregarded also. As such, the Inspector of Police, Thirukovilur Police Station, Villupuram District is directed to expedite the trial and file a final report /Charge Sheet as expeditiously as possible. Such investigation shall be monitered by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Villupuram on a day to day basis.

2.With these observations, this criminal original petition stands closed.
