This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to register complaint of the petitioner dated 30.11.2021 and take necessary action as per procedure of law. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint on 30.11.2021, no action has been taken. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that to verify the veracity of the complaint the petitioner to appear before the Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Ranipet, along with the copy of the complaint and supporting documents. Thereafter on enquiry, the Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Ranipet, would take appropriate action. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instruction submits that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on 15.02.2022, along with the copy of the complaint dated 30.11.2021 and the supporting documents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.Considering the submissions and on perusal of the materials, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent police on 15.02.2022. Thereafter the Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Ranipet is directed to conduct enquiry and register the FIR, if cognizable offence is made out, as per the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in AIR 2012 SC 1515. Otherwise, closure report shall be sent to the petitioner, within a period of three weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner feels aggrieved, he can file a protest petition. 6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
