C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.12.2023, registered for the offences under Sections 8(c), r/w 22(b) of NDPS Act in Crime No.475 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 13.12.2023 the petitioner is found in possession of 0.005 gram of LSD Stamp ( Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) and Tydel tablets 100 Nos.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the seized quantity is intermediate quantity. Hence prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate stated that even though the seized quantity is intermediate quantity it was transported to further sales to innocent persons. He further submitted that there are five 1/3

previous cases against the petitioner out of which one is under NDPS Act. He also stated that the seized contra band was sent to Forensic Science Laboratory, Chennai for chemical analysis and the report has not yet been received.

5. In view of the fact that the report has not yet been received, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
