O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 07.01.2016 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Chitrarasu alleging that he had cut the cable line of the petitioner and thereafter illegally gave the connection to his line and when the petitioner questioned the same, he has abused the petitioner with filthy language. Though the said complaint was given as early as on 07.01.2016, till date no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present criminal original petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.6 of 2016 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry.

5. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.01.2016 in C.S.R.No.6 of 2016 and proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
