K.Gopinath, lodged in Vellore Central Prison for a particular period as fixed by the respondents to attend the petitioner's younger son's marriage to be held on 25.01.2021, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.This writ petition has become infructuous inasmuch as the prayer of the petitioner is for interim release of the detenu by name K.Gopinath, for the purpose of attending his brother's marriage on 25.01.2021. In view of the efflux of time, this writ petition is closed as infructuous. No costs.
