O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent herein for taking necessary steps on the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.11.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lost her sale deed dated 02.09.2002 in Doc.No.4958 of 2002 before the respondent police. However, till now the respondent police had not traced the document.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the Director General of Police issued a Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022 with regard to the procedure to be followed for the issuance of Non Traceable Certificate. He further submitted that if the petitioner gives the representation following the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum, necessary action would be taken.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation based on the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum

Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. On receiving such representation, the respondent Police is directed to dispose of the representation within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
