This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register case based on the information dated 03.11.2012 in S.No.3156 of 2012 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is stated by the petitioner that he had given a complaint on 03.11.2012 to the Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram District and not to the Station House Officer. He has forwarded it with a reminder letter dated 13.01.2014 to the Superintendent of Police.

Learned Government Advocate submits that the complaint given by the petitioner is now pending enquiry on the file of the Anti Land Grabbing Cell, as it has been transferred from the file of the District Crime Branch to the file of the Anti Land Grabbing Cell on 24.07.2014.

5. Under such circumstances, since Anti Land Grabbing Cell is not a respondent before this Court, this Court, gives liberty to the petitioner to go in-person and lodge a fresh complaint to the Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Kancheepuram and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law, if it discloses commission of cognizable offence or otherwise the complaint may be closed.
