Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records of the 1st respondent culminating with the order of detention No. 884/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 26.12.2019 passed by the 1st respondent herein detaining the petitioner's son Thiru. Vellai Prakash @ Prakash under Act XIV of 1982 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the person of the detenu, Thiru. Vellai Prakash @ Prakash, S/o. Rajendran, male aged about 38 years before this Hon'ble Court, now detained in the Central Prison, Vellore and thereby set him at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) This Petition has been filed by the father of the detenu, viz., Thiru. Vellai Prakash @ Prakash, S/o. Rajendran, challenging the detention order passed by the 1st respondent in No. 884/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 26.12.2019.

2.It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the Government has revoked the detention order passed by the 1st respondent against the detenu. 3.In view of the said representation, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
