Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Inspector General of Registration, Mylapore, Chennai 600 028 the first respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner appeal filed under Circular 67 dated 3.11.2011 before the first respondent on 30.09.2017 within time frame to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court to dispose the appeal.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the Inspector General of Registration, Mylapore, Chennai 600 028, the first respondent herein to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on the basis of the Circular No.67 dated 3.11.2011 issued by the first respondent.

2. The said prayer is untenable and unjustified, in view of the subsequent Circular No.41530/U1/2017 dated 20.10.2017 issued by the first respondent withdrawing the Circular No.67 dated 3.11.2011. In the light of the same, this writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
