When the matter is taken up on 29.03.2019, there was no representation for the petitioners. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption "for dismissal" and accordingly, it has been posted today. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners either in person or by their counsel.

2.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the case is pending from the year 2009 without any progress.

3.The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submits that due to stay granted by this Court, the investigation could not be completed and further seeks four weeks time to file final report.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, with a direction to the respondent Police to file a final report within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
