The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the second respondent to appoint the petitioner as an Assistant Lecturer in the Human Rights subject in the category of Most Backward Class (DNC) with unfilled vacancies of the Government Law colleges pursuant to notification No.2/2018 dated 18.07.2018.

2. Mr.P.Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner is seeking a direction to the second respondent-Teachers Recruitment Board to appoint the petitioner as an Assistant Lecturer in the existing vacancies of Government Law colleges in Tamil Nadu pursuant to notification No.2/2018 dated 18.07.2018. Since the Teachers Recruitment Board is not an appointing authority, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court.
Hence, the Writ Petition is rejected and the same is dismissed. No costs.
