II) Department, Fort St. George, Chennai 600009, to move the Government to issue suitable Government Orders to the effect of retrospective regularizing the services of the Petitioner from the date of her initial appointment namely 24.7.1999 in the post of Female Escort Warder Grade II with attendant, service and monetary benefits attached to the said post and to create a sanctioned post with effect from the above said date and to direct the first respondent herein to pay the resultant arrears arising out of such retrospective regularisation, within a short date as fixed by this Court. ORDER
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the sole petitioner died and his legal heirs are not interested to prosecute the case and hence, he sought to dismiss this Writ Petition as abated with a liberty to the legal heirs of the petitioner to file a fresh petition, if they intends to file in future. 2.The said statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner is taken on record.
