Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 6th respondent or any other concerned respondent to issue patta on the name of the petitioners for the lands in Survey No.44/2B to an extent of 8 acre 62 cents in Othivakkam Village, Chengalpattu District in accordance with law and pass suitable orders.

ORDER

A communication has been passed by Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Government Advocate, addressed by the District Revenue Officer, Chengalpet, wherein, the said officer had stated that based on the representation given by the petitioner herein, an enquiry has been fixed on 26.08.2021 in the office of the District Revenue Officer, Chengalpet.

2.In view of the facts that an enquiry would be commenced and proceeded with, it may not be proper to keep the writ petition pending any further. The petitioners may be present in the enquiry and thereafter based on the orders passed take necessary appropriate legal remedies including filing a fresh writ petition among other remedies.

3.With the said observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
