PRAYER: This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.1259/BCDFGISSSV/2024, dated 18.12.2024 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son Khader Maideen S/o. Mohammed Ali aged about 31 years the detenue, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.483, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 31.01.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
