(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 66, 43(j) and 66 D of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, in Crime No.202 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. However, today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Mayilnathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition with liberty to file a petition for extension of time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file a petition for extension of time.
