Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the fourth respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 & 2.

2.In connection with the sale transaction of a fancy shop in Survey No.74/1 situated in Kothampaddi Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District, the petitioner apprehends harm from the respondents 3 & 4 herein. In this background, she has given a complaint dated 24.01.2017 seeking police protection which has not been considered till date and hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.In view of the fact that the complaint has been given as early as on 24.01.2017, the cause of action that arose may not subsist now. Nevertheless, if the petitioner is still aggrieved, it is always open to her to seek a remedy by way of a representation to the respondent

police and on receipt of such a representation, the respondent police shall pass appropriate orders on its own merits after affording due opportunity to the respondents 3 and 4. The petitioner can also in anticipation, file a complaint on any other persons against whom she apprehends that such problem may arise, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above observations and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
