O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to cancel the Release Deed Document No.8186/2017 and other entries on the file of the 2nd respondent in the light of the Letter RC.No.1585/2017 dated 24.10.2017 of the Special Tahsildar (Town Settlement), Pallavaram by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 06.04.2018.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

In view of the Full Bench decision of this Court made in W.A.Nos.592 and 938 of 2009 dated 11.02.2011 in this regard, this Court is of the view that the prayer sought for by the petitioner could not be granted.

In the result, the Writ Petition fails and the same is accordingly dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent civil forum. No costs.
