PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent police to transfer the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2018 on the file of the respondent, Inspector of Police DCB, Tiruvannamalai instead of investigating by the respondent herein.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.2 of 2018, which is now pending before the respondent police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police is refusing to seize the property from the accused person. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the investigation has not been conducted properly by the respondent police.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is almost completed and a final report will be filed shortly.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of two https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If the respondent police, in the course of investigation deems it fit to seize the articles, which is the subject matter of the crime, the same may be considered in accordance with law.
