The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to prohibit the 1st respondent from in any way conferring the letter of intent on the basis of the illegal declaration made in favour of the 2nd respondent with reference to the dealership in Kadaladi Village.

2. The learned counsel for the 1st respondent/Indian Oil corporation made a submission that the Corporation had conducted a detailed enquiry with reference to the complaint filed by the writ petitioner. The jurisdictional Thasildar issued a certificate, stating that the 2nd respondent was not the resident of the location, which is mentioned in his application and thus, the complaint filed by the petitioner became proved.
3. In view of the facts and circumstances, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent made a submission that the 2nd respondent is not entitled to the allotment of LPG Dealership for that locality and the candidature of the 2nd respondent itself was cancelled by the Indian Oil Corporation. In this view of the matter, the grievances of the petitioner was redressed and thus, no further adjudication is required.
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
