Respondent(s) PRAYER; This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 1st respondent from taking any action against the petitioner on the basis of the audit objection dated nil para 33(7) in Objection Chit No. 113/2020- 2021 and the audit objection dated nil para No. 33(8) in objection chit No. 114/2020- 2021 issued by the Local Fund Audit Department which was dropped by the district High Level Committee, Headed by the District collector, Tiruvallur on 23.12.2025 by considering the petitioners representation dated 7.01.2026 within a stipulated time may be fixed by this Honble court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed forbearing the 1st respondent from taking any action against the petitioner on the basis of the audit objection dated nil para 33(7) in Objection Chit No. 113/2020- 2021 and the audit objection dated nil para No. 33(8) in objection chit No. 114/2020- 2021 issued by the Local Fund Audit Department which was dropped by the district High Level Committee, Headed by the District collector, Tiruvallur on 23.12.2025 by considering the petitioners representation dated 7.01.2026.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was working as Regional Director of Municipal Administration in Vellore Region and due to retire from service on 30.06.2026 on reaching the age of superannuation. During service, the first respondent issued audit objection from the year 2020-2021 against the petitioner that objection against working order dated 29.12.2018 and 11.01.2019 based on that the petitioner filed a writ petition in WP.No.27525 of 2025 before this Court and the same was disposed by this Court on 28.07.2025 with direction to finalise the audit paras and settle the same in Avadi Municipal Corporation and Kancheepuram City Municipal Corporation within reasonable period that the petitioner is due to retire on 30.06.2026. However, the first respondent had not implemented the same on 10.12.2025. Subsequently, the special committee

headed by the District Collector, Tiruvallur removed the audit paras 33(7) and 33(8) of the year 2020-2021 is creating against the petitioner and on 07.01.2026 the petitioner gave a representation to the first respondent requesting to delete the audit paras 33(7) and 33(8) of the year 2020-2021 is creating such unwarranted claims against the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
