ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to disburse the arrears of amount of Rs.15,98,840/- to the petitioner for supply, Installation and Commissioning of Reverse Osmosis [RO] plaint in Rural Areas done by the petitioner at Kattupakkam and Chitheri Panchayats in third respondent block, Ranipet District along with interest from the date of completion of work and till the date of realization.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was entrusted with the work of supply, installation and commissioning of Reverse Osmosis [RO] plants 2/5

in Kattapakkan and Chitheri panchayats in the third respondent block. He has completed the work in the year 2020. However, the amount has not been released by the respondents. Hence, the Writ Petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has not given training as per the contract. That apart, reverse osmosis plant has not been put into use. Hence, it is his contention that once the plant is put into operation, they will try to settle the amount.

4. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to give a representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. If any repair work is required to be done, the same shall be attended by the petitioner. After completion of the repair works, the representation of the petitioner shall be considered by the respondents within a period of one month.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
