This Writ Petition is filed by the workmen challenging the Award of the Labour Court made in I.D.No.112 of 2007 dated 22.07.2009.

2. The Management challenged the very same Award in W.P.No.20693 of 2009 and the said Writ Petition along with connected writ petition in W.P.No.28272 of 2011 was disposed of on 21.11.2014, recording the compromise entered into between the Management and the employee through a joint memo filed before the Court. The order passed in the said writ petition reads as follows:

The Management and Employee have entered into a compromise and to that effect filed a Joint Memo before this Court. One of the condition agreed by both the parties is to give a direction to the Labour Court to withdraw a sum of Rs.51,975/- along with accrued interest thereon. Accordingly, this Court directs the Labour Court to permit the employee to withdraw the said amount, after filing a memo in this regard.

2. Therefore, recording the joint memo filed by both the parties, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.

3. Since the parties to the Award made in I.D.No.112/2007 have already entered into compromise in W.P.No.20693/2009 as stated supra, nothing remains in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed, in view of the compromise entered into between the parties in the other writ petition as stated supra. No costs.
