ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to trace out the vehicle, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. According the petitioner, his brother met with an accident on 20.03.2015 at about 19.40 Hrs., and succumbed to injuries on 21.3.2015 and in this regard the petitioner lodged a complaint to the respondent police in Crime No.251 of 2015 dated 21.03.2015.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

4. From a perusal of the materials available on record, it is seen that the petitioner's brother was involved in a hit and run accident and a case in Crime No.251/2015 was registered for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

offences punishable under sections 279 and 304(A) IPC and the same is pending. The police is unable to locate the vehicle, since the registration number of the vehicle has not been given.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police are conducting investigation and traced the vehicle.

6. Recording the above submission, the respondent police is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.251/2015 and take action in accordance with law and also try to keep the vehicle which was involved in the accident.

7. The Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above direction.
