PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, directing the respondents to register complaint dated 04.12.2021 given by the petitioner. For Petitioner :

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register his complaint dated 04.12.2021.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that he lodged a complaint in person on 04.12.2021 to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Salem City, but no action taken against the said complaint. Prior to it also, he registered a complaint, but the same was closed stating it as a Civil Dispute. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the third respondent, Ammapet Police Station has not received any complaint so far.

4.In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to produce a copy of the complaint dated 04.12.2021 to the respondents and in turn, the Jurisdictional Assistant Commissioner of Police, Salem, shall conduct enquiry and conclude the same, within a period of three weeks therefrom.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
