O R D E R

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 19.07.2018 and thereby accord permission for the functions and to

conduct "Adal-Padal Cultural Programs" scheduled to be held on 12.08.2018. in the village festival of the village temple, namely, Sri Arulmigu Iyyanar Temple, at Mariamman Temple Street, J.Sithambur Village, Coovanoor Post, Thiruvkoviloor Taluk, Villupuram District. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the respondent on 19.07.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 12.08.2018, the respondent has not passed orders till today.

4.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017, in similar circumstances, directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same. 5.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2018. and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 11.08.2018.

With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
