This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.51 of 2021 on the file of respondent police.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that final report has already been filed before the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore on 19.02.2024 and the same has been taken cognizance in CC No.62 of 2024.

In view of the above submission, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the final report filed by the respondent police, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 2/4
