ORDER

This Court, by its order dated 30.04.2024 in W.P. No.12468 of 2024, issued a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and 1/3

pass appropriate orders. Pursuant to the said directions, as seen from the status report filed by the respondent, the respondent has conducted inspection and submitted its report on 17.04.2025 and thereafter the Contempt Petition was closed. Subsequently, the petitioner has filed the Sub Application to reopen the contempt proceedings, by contending that the spirit of the order has not been fully complied with.

2. It is to be noted that contempt proceedings is not a remedial measure and the scope is limited. Further, it is crystal clear that this Court had not issued any positive directions in the writ petition except directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation. Since the respondent has already conducted inspection and pointed out defects, the direction issued by this Court stands complied with.
