Mr.I.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.This petition is filed seeking for a mandamus to direct the respondents to provide information relating to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

acquisition of petitioner's property situated at Mukundaradapuram village, Wallaja Taluk, Vellore District in Bymash No.376, New S.No.119 extent of 4.81 Are, Bymash No.446, New S.No.189 extent of 31.43 Are, Bymash No.241, New S.No.208 extent of 2.73 Are, Bymash No.425, New S.No.421 extent of 2.31 Are, Bymash No.376, New S.No.119 extent of 3.10.4 Are, Bymash No.386 and New S.No.189 Extent of 0.14.9 Are based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2018. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In effect, the prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to provide information under the RTI Act as sought for by the petitioner through his application dated 15.12.2018. The grievance of the petitioner is that till this date, the information is not furnished to the petitioner. Needless to say that remedy to the petitioner lies in the RTI Act itself, if the application filed by the petitioner is either not considered or the information is not provided. Without exhausting the remedy available under the RTI Act, the petitioner is not entitled to file the present writ petition seeking for a mandamus. Accordingly, this writ petition is totally misconceived. Thus, the same is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the concerned authority provided under the RTI Act.
