ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider her representation dated 6.3.2017 for conferment of family pension. 2.

According to the petitioner, her husband Mr.S.Ramakrishnan, while serving as Assistant Agriculture Officer, Krishnagiri, died on 5.9.2016 while in service. Therefore, she has submitted a representation on 6.3.2017 requesting the respondent to drop further action on the disciplinary proceedings initiated against her husband under Rule 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline & Appeal) Rules and consequently to grant her the family pension. Since the said representation has not been considered, she has come to this Court.
