This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 16.10.2024, wherein, the petitioner has sought for adding all the legal heirs of Late.Matthan in the revenue records and for issuance of fresh patta carrying all those names. 2.Heard Ms.S.Thankira, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

3.The specific case of the petitioner is that the subject property originally belonged to his father Matthan. He died on 16.09.2008 and he left behind five legal heirs. The grievance of the petitioner is that one of the legal heir managed to get an exclusive patta leaving out the other legal heirs. Therefore, representation was made to the respondents to include the names of all the legal heirs of Matthan. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 2/4

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be ad direction to the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation dated 16.10.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and opportunity shall be given to all the interested parties and final orders shall be passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
