(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to Judicial Custody on 31.12.2020 for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 353, 420, 294(A), 506(ii) and 307 IPC r/w. 5, 7(3) of Lotteries Regulation Act 1998 in Crime No.2294 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police and seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has been detained under Act 14 of 1982 .
