This Petition is filed to condone the delay of 256 days in filing the Criminal appeal against the judgment of conviction and sentence imposed on 24.2.2022 in Spl.S.C.No.71 of 2022 on the file of Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Cuddalore District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent and perused the affidavit filed in support of this petition.

3. The reasons stated in the affidavit is accepted and the delay of 256 days in filing the Criminal Appeal is condoned. The petition is ordered.
