ORDER

This Court has passed the following order in W.No.2896 of 2015 dated 21.06.2024.

"Therefore, it is crystal clear that for those persons appointed prior to the publication of these Rules, the qualifications prescribed in this G.O. would not apply. The aforesaid factor has not been taken note of by the authorities concerned. Consequently, the impugned order passed is without any legal basis. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned order of the second respondent dated 05.01.2015 is quashed."

2. Today when the matter is listed, the learned Government Advocate had produced an order dated 02.03.2025, wherein, it has been stated as follows:

''Hence, I am to inform that permission is hereby accorded to sanction notional promotion and notional pay fixation to Thiru C.Jayaraman as Head Master with effect from the dated of upgradation of Pudurnadu Forest Higher Secondary School (i.e.,) from 12.09.1996 with 2/4

monetary benefit from the date of assumption of charge in the post of Head Master, subject to the outcome of Writ Appeal filed.''

3. Therefore, since there has been a compliance of the order of this Court dated 21.06.2014, this Contempt Petition is closed.

4. Since the contempt petition itself is closed, no orders are required to be passed in the sub applications filed to dispense with the personal appearance of the respondents 1 and 2. Accordingly, sub applications are also closed.
