ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the Impugned orders of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.2225/A2/2006 dated 19.10.2010 and consequential order of the first respondent in G.O.(Vallayam) No.201, School Education (A1) Department dated 31.10.2011 that rejected the claim of the petitioner for selection grade and special grade and to quash the same and to direct the respondents to confer selection grade and special grade to the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the letter addressed to the petitioner was returned with postal endorsement that the petitioner is no more. He further submitted that inspite of the best efforts, he is not in a position to reach out the legal representatives of the petitioner. The death of the petitioner is also confirmed by Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate for the respondents and informed this Court that the Page No.2 of 4

petitioner passed away on 27.09.2019.

3. In the light of the above, this Writ petition stands closed as abated. No costs. However, in case, if the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner intends to pursue this writ petition, they are directed to file an appropriate applications.
