O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the case in Crl.A.No.98 of 2014 from the file of the learned IInd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranipet, Vellore District to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Karur, Karur District.

2. The petitioners seek to transfer the case in Crl.A.No.98 of 2014 on the file of the learned IInd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranipet, Vellore District. Now, almost five years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3. However, the learned IInd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranipet, Vellore District is directed to complete the trial in Crl.A.No.98 of 2014 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
