This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C No100 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvallur.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the case itself has ended in acquittal by judgment dated 14.12.2017 made in C.C No.100 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvallur.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this Criminal Original Petition and the same is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
