Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent in G.O.Ms.No.11, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (Election) Department, dated 17.01.2022, pertaining only to the reservation of office of the Chairman of Ulundurpettai Municipality, Kallakurichi District, to Schedule Caste (General) and quash the same, consequently, direct the first respondent to reserve/de-reserve the office of Chairman of Ulndurpettai Municipality, Kallakurichi District, in accordance to Tamil Nadu Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations (Delimitations of Wards/Divisions and Reservation) Rules, 1996, as amended, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
